Distance Students
The Boise State University Career Center
recognizes distance students as any student taking Boise State University
classes at locations other than the main Boise Campus. The Career Center
provides career planning and employment services to students living both in and outside the Boise area.

For job searching, the Career Center's password-protected,
web-based, job-referral system lists internships, part-time, temporary,
summer, and full-time employment opportunities for current students, graduating seniors, and
alumni. (available through the web)

- Career counselors are available to assist you in identifying your career interests,
skills and abilities, and values. Using this information, you
will be able to apply them to occupations and begin planning your
education. (available by calling for a telephone appointment)

- The Career Center
uses a web-based program (DISCOVER) to help you in your career-development process.
DISCOVER
is a powerful tool for career exploration and development.
The program allows its users to learn about themselves, what types
of careers match their interests and abilities and what educational path
they’ll need to take to pursue those careers.

- Assistance
with job searching, resume and cover-letter critique, and interview
preparation is available through the
