Boise
State supervisors are invited to nominate outstanding student employees for the
2007-2008 Student Employee of the Year award. To be eligible for
consideration, the nominee must
-
have
completed or expect to complete three months of employment in his/her current
position during the current school year and
-
be
an undergraduate student employee paid by an hourly rate.
Nominees
will be recognized at a reception hosted by the Career Center. The
reception will be held in the Bishop Barnwell Room of the Student Union at 3:00 p.m. on
Tuesday, April 22. Boise State University staff are also encouraged to
recognize student employees at the departmental level during Student Employment
Week, April 13-19th.
To
nominate, please complete the two steps below. For your nominee to be
eligible for consideration, both the Letter of Nomination (Step 1) and the web form
(Step 2) must be received in the Career Center
by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2008.
STEP
1. - Letter of Nomination
Submit a
Letter of Nomination (maximum of one page) to the Career Center via email (career@boisestate.edu)
or fax (426-3437). In the letter, indicate the nominee's job
title and briefly describe his/her job description. Describe the
accomplishments that you feel qualify the nominee to be considered for the
Student Employee of the Year award. Cite specific examples of the
nominee's achievements and contributions that influenced your
nomination. Please comment on these qualities where appropriate:
Reliability, Quality of Work, Initiative,
Adaptability, and Uniqueness of Contribution. Selection of the Student
Employee of the Year is based solely upon your written nomination. A
copy of your nomination will be provided to the nominee.
