Class Presentations by Career Center Staff

Dear Colleague:

Our experience is that more students learn about the Career Center from faculty than from any other source.  We appreciate your assistance in helping us inform students about our services, and we would like to extend our services to your classrooms.

A Career Center representative can speak to your class about a variety of career-related topics:

  • Career Planning
  • Major Exploration
  • Job Searching
  • Internships
  • Interviews
  • Resumes & Cover Letters
  • Networking
  • Job-Search Etiquette

Here are suggestions for utilizing Career Center staff in your classrooms:

  • Arrange to have a speaker from the Career Center on the date of a planned absence
  • Schedule a 5-10 minute presentation during the class period
  • Schedule a speaker for all or the majority of a class period
  • Choose to have all topics covered briefly or have a focus session on one of the topics

Arrangements can be made by sending your request to career@boisestate.edu or calling 426-1747.

For a complete listing of our services and staff , visit our web site (career.boisestate.edu).  Thank you for your support.
