Jennifer Ross

I joined the Career Center staff in June of 2003.  Before moving to the wonderful city of Boise and joining the winning staff at Boise State University I attended Idaho State University.  In May of 2003 I completed my Masters degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Student Affairs and College Counseling.

My interests are in teaching students about and assisting them with the career-planning process.  The career-planning process generally involves three areas: who, what, and how.

  • The who would be you.

  • The what would be what you most want to do.

  • The how would be how you will achieve what you want.

I believe that once you set goals that are clearly in line with your personal values and professional vision you are much more likely to naturally and consistently take actions to achieve them.  You may also find that just talking about your options to someone  who really listens is enough to clarify things.

I look forward to working with you to plan a career that will bring you personal and professional satisfaction.
