Alex Gutierrez I joined the great staff at the Career Center in October 2006. Prior to coming to Boise State University I worked at Micron Technology as the Education Program Coordinator in the Corporate Training & Education area. I provided career counseling and academic advising to the Micron team members. Before that, I was the Assistant Director of Career Services at Northern Arizona University. I have a Master of Arts in Education in Counseling emphasizing Student Personnel and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Supervision. I found out what I was truly passionate about (besides movies) and discovered I could actually do it for a living. I truly enjoy helping students find their passion, establish goals and achieve their vision. I believe when you identify your passion, your career plans will fall into place. Remember, success is a journey, not a destination. My interests include the entire gamut of the career planning process. I can help you assess your values, interest and abilities to provide insight to career options and also help you develop job search skills. So come to the Career Center to start your journey!
